Sengge Rinpoche was born in 1964.Since young, he has shown exceptional wisdom and behavior. After finishing his secondary school education .He was ordained as a Monk by Luding Rinpoche and entered Sakyapa Monastery in Qinghai.

At Sakyapa Monastery,Sengge Rinpoche learned the various responsibilities of a
Monk. A year later,he was only nineteen when he was admitted to De Gin
Zhongza Buddhist College in Sichuan.De Gin Zhongza Buddhist College is a
Sakyapa college. He graduated after four years. Rinpoche was given different
initiation by many Rinpoches and he performed many retreats during this time.

In 1993,he went to Sakyapa College in India to assist in teaching. In 1998,he was instructed by His Holiness Sakya Trinzin to leave for Sakya Tenphel Ling in Singapore. He stayed in Singapore to teach Dharma from 1998 to 2002.
In 2002,he was instructed by His Holiness Sakya Trinzin to spread Dharma in Taiwan Taipei.

At the end 2003,Sengge Rinpoche came back to Singapore for a short visit. He has decided to go for long retreat in his Monastery Qu Mu Si in Sichuan Rang Ding MuYa. Presently, Sengge Rinpoche is in his Monastery.
